Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bao Bao Gaming ("we", "us", "our"), an independent game developer based in Ontario, Canada, handles information in our mobile games, including Mugen Tales, Titan Foundry: Abyssal Gate and Oishii Match: Kawaii Snacks (the "Apps"), whether played in an app or in a web browser, and on this website. Some Apps also have their own privacy policy with game-specific details, linked below; where the two differ, the game's own policy applies to that game.

1. Information we collect

Playing without an account. You can play our Apps without signing in. Game progress is stored on your device.

Optional account and cloud saves. Some Apps let you link a Google or Apple account to save progress in the cloud and keep it across devices. If you do, we receive basic account details from that provider (such as an account ID and email address) and store your save data and purchase records with that account.

Leaderboards. Some Apps have online leaderboards (for example, Blitz mode in Oishii Match). If you take part, your score and the display name linked to your account are stored on our servers and shown to other players.

In-game currency. Some Apps keep your in-game currency balance on our servers, so it stays accurate and cannot be tampered with.

AI-generated stories. In Mugen Tales, the choices you make and any names or details you enter (such as a character name) are sent to AI service providers to write the next part of the story and create scene art. Please don't enter real personal information, such as your full name or address, into story fields.

Subscriptions on the web. Web subscriptions (such as Mugen Tales Unlimited) are processed by Stripe. We receive your email address and subscription status, but never your full card details.

In-app purchases. Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive a record of what was purchased so we can deliver it, but we never receive your card or payment details.

Advertising. Ad partners in our Apps and web games may automatically collect certain information from your device, including through cookies in web browsers, such as:

• Device advertising identifier (e.g., Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA, where permitted)
• Device type, operating system version, language and general (country-level) location based on IP address
• Ad interaction data (e.g., ads viewed or clicked)

We do not use separate analytics, crash-reporting or attribution tools in our Apps.

2. How the information is used

• To run the game, save your progress and restore it on a new device
• To deliver and restore in-app purchases and keep your in-game currency balance
• To run leaderboards, check that scores are genuine, and contact winners of any prizes
• To show ads, including rewarded ads you choose to watch, and to measure ad performance
• To generate AI stories and art in response to your choices
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to respond to support requests

3. Service providers and advertising partners

We use trusted third parties to run our Apps. They process information on our behalf or under their own privacy policies:

• Supabase (accounts, sign-in, cloud saves, leaderboards and in-game currency): supabase.com/privacy
• RevenueCat (in-app purchase management): revenuecat.com/privacy
• Stripe (web subscription payments): stripe.com/privacy
• AI service providers (story text and scene art in Mugen Tales), which process your story inputs only to generate content for you
• Google (AdMob and AdSense ads, Google sign-in, Google Play): policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store): apple.com/legal/privacy
• AppLovin (advertising, where used): applovin.com/privacy

Where required by law (for example, in the EEA or UK), you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

4. Your choices

• Limit personalized ads: On Android, go to Settings › Google › Ads (or Settings › Privacy › Ads) to reset or delete your advertising ID. On iPhone, go to Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
• Consent settings: Where offered, you can change your ad consent choices inside the App. In a web browser, you can manage personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com or block cookies in your browser settings.
• Delete your account: You can request deletion of your account, cloud save data and leaderboard entries at any time by emailing us. For Titan Foundry, you can also use titan-foundry.vercel.app/delete-account.
• Uninstall: Uninstalling an App stops further collection from that App.

5. Children

Our Apps are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data sharing and sale

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers and partners described above, or when required by law.

7. Data retention and security

We keep account, save and leaderboard data for as long as your account exists, and delete it when you ask us to. We rely on reputable providers that use industry-standard safeguards, such as encryption in transit.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under Canada's PIPEDA, the GDPR, or U.S. state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
